Feasibility Studies

Feasibility studies are our specialty and bring together the depth of skill and experience we offer in both the technical and commercial areas of mine development, mineral dressing, hydrometallurgy and downstream processing and mine production.

We work with clients to guide their projects from initial scoping through prefeasibility to final feasibility assessment. A recent trend, saving both time and resources, is to undertake a more advanced scoping study before proceeding directly to a Definitive Feasibility Study.

Studies are critical decision-making tools, not only shaping the design of a project, but also helping cement it’s economics and reduce risk. The objectives of the study determine the scope and level of bankability required. Some are used for internal review and governance purposes, while others are used to attract equity funders or secure bank finance.

BatteryLimits has successfully delivered numerous feasibility studies, particularly for Australian and African resource projects, including graphite, gold, iron ore, vanadium and copper/molybdenum.
